Bees signify our city's bustling activity and strong unity, making it a perfect emblem for our BooBee campaign. This year, we are proud to introduce the Buzz of Hope image featuring BooBee. This image not only represents a hive of industry - reflecting the essence of our campaign, but also serves as a visual reminder of the women affected by breast cancer.

Our primary goal is to make a positive impact on women's health by raising awareness about breast cancer symptoms, encouraging mammogram attendance, fostering a supportive community for those affected, and fundraising for Prevent Breast Cancer and Make 2nds Count.  

According to CRUK, around 1 in 7 women will receive a diagnosis of breast cancer in their lifetime.

It is estimated that out of these 1 in 7 women diagnosed, around 1 in 3 will go on to receive a secondary diagnosis. A secondary diagnosis is treatable but not cureable.
